Update:
New York Islanders ticket holders were elated as the Islanders managed to hold on to center Alexei Yashin. Yashin is coming off a 26 goal year, and will be joined on the ice of the Nassau Veterans Coliseum by Mike York, obtained in a trade with the Edmonton Oilers, and winger Miroslav Satan, who come to the Islanders by way of the Buffalo Sabres. A defensive overhaul should also give fans with Islanders tickets something to look forward to.
